I’m way behind on posting about this, but php[tek] 2024 is just around the corner this April in Chicago. I’ll be giving two talks this year, and have a referral code that will save you $50 on your ticket!

As you may be aware, I’ll be heading out to Portland this week to speak at the inaugural Cascadia PHP, but Cascadia PHP President Alena Holligan reached out last week to see if I’d be willing to extend my stay and speak at the local Portland PHP user-group, PHPDX, the Monday following the conference. Always willing to speak somewhere offering pizza and geekiness, I quickly re-arranged a flight and am proud to be attending (and speaking at) my first PHPDX meetup!
A few weeks ago, one of the organizers of the Washington D.C. WordPress meetup group reached out and asked if I’d be willing to speak while I’m in town for php[world]. Never one to pass up and opportunity to speak to new groups (to be fair, there was also mention of free pizza and beer), I happily accepted.
I’ll be giving my new Up to my Eyeballs in Technical Debt! talk, just days before it officially premieres at php[world].
Apparently it’s a two talk kind of year, as I’ve been accepted to speak at php[world] this November in Washington, D.C. with two new talks.
