New speaking section

A bit late considering I gave two talks in the last week but I’ve added a “Speaking Engagements” section to the site. I’m relatively new to professional speaking but am looking for more opportunities to share what I’ve learned. If you’re interested in having me speak at your event, please get in touch!

Speaking of presentations, I’ve been working with reveal.js a lot recently. It’s a really nice front-end presentation framework that lets you write your slide decks in HTML and CSS and run the presentation in your browser. I’ve been putting my decks up on Github, giving me a nice easy link that I can share with my audiences. For example, my slides for my recent WordPress security basics talk are available at http://stevegrunwell.github.io/wordpress-security-basics/.
